About Stacey

Stacey has been working with children for 20 years and is working towards obtaining her Master in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. Stacey is looking forward to working with a variety of clients, supporting them through a variety of needs including, but not limited to, anxietydepression, stress-management, traumafamily and relationships

Through her work in child care, she has developed skills of mediation, patience, clear communication and grown to help people with multiple backgrounds and diverse family needs. During the COVID-19 pandemic Stacey advocated for mental health care both in her workplace and with her employees as a manager. She decided to take a leap and begin her Masters to pursue this new passion. She is excited for the opportunity to work with adults and families as well as youth.

Stacey believes in a client-centered approach, focusing on cognitive behavioural, narrative and mindfulness interventions and therapeutic strategies. She has always enjoyed meeting new people from different backgrounds and looks forward to learning more about her clients’ unique lived experiences, approaching with curiosity and acceptance.
